REC TEC Grills Second Shelf (Fits RT-680)

I just received an email from Rec Tec about a new 2nd shelf release (http://www.rectecgrills.com/rec-tec-grills-second-shelf-fits-rt-680/). Anyone looking to pick it up? I wonder if it would fit with the downdraft mod installed (another item I'm contemplating).

Not aware of that one...I know that the vertical height and the round shape of the Rec Tec are a limitation on how high or deep ( front to back) a 2nd shelf could be.
There are a few threads here about making a 2nd shelf for your grill using 1/4" threaded rod, nuts and fender washers and common sized grates all available at your local hardware store.

It's $59.99. As for the fit with the downdraft mod, it won't fit as seen in the new video they released today.
