Final cook on the Grill2Go grill
« Reply #-1 on: June 14, 2016, 12:30:39 PM »
Saturday we had friends over for dinner and a poppers before we ate.

Perfect day to get the new shed set up and for it's first cookout (sorta)

Anyway we had corn on the cob, sliced spuds with onion soup mop and breaded steak (my favorite)  ;) ;) ;)

First I cooked a few poppers to get things going

When I started cooking for dinner I made sliced spuds and brushed with butter/onion soup mix

When the corn and spuds were done I tossed on the breaded steak

After of fighting with the Grill2Go grill (kept going out) I finally finished the steak and we ate

Onion soup was Lipton's mix and I mixed it with 3 sticks of butter let it slow cook on the stove for about 1/2 hr then used as a mop for the spuds when they were close to being done

Corn and poppers were cooked in an SRG by the way

Tommy..I wonder if we can even get replacement parts if something happens. I feel really bad about yours and have no idea how to even fix it. Is it the burner that is giving out?  Worried about it now..  .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.

Not the burner.  Just since day one I had to be careful on when to use it    It goes out fast just tired of it I guess

great looking meal, never thought of doing a breaded steak on the grill....

Surely you can figure out some modification or skirt to fix the issue ;)

so, you have the same problem with the Grill2Go that I do... this fire hazard keeps going out, but the propane keeps flowing .. have you found out the cause or a cure.  I've replaced 3 burners, 4 valves, 3 hoses, and tried 2 tanks ... nothing works.  Any tips would be good.  Otherwise, I will have some parts for sale as this is too dangerous to use as-is.

I spoke with Charbroil and they sent me a new regulator (my 4th one) and asked me to try it.  I started using it this week and it is working great... cooking at high heat (700*) and has not gone out once even when cooking with the lid closed, 45* outside, with a 10-15mph breeze hitting it from the front.

Fingers are crossed, but this may have fixed it.
