A New Bratwurst from Farmland
« Reply #-1 on: July 15, 2016, 10:07:48 AM »
Art should love this one! Farmland has a (new to me) Yuengling Lager bratwurst out. My dear wife wanted a quick dinner last night and asked me to pick up some bratwurst at the grocery on my way home from work.  There was the usually seen brands, (I was in Kroger's) but this package caught my eye! Sorry no pic of pkg.  :(  I neverhad a Farmland brat, but they make a great bacon for the money so I'm sure their brats are good too!
Cooked on the PK with zucchini slices painted with evoo, s&p. The zucchini got a sauce once finished on the grill. Recipe came from Serious Eats. Grilled zucchini with capers, basil and lemon. Excellent recipe!
The brats were very good too! Good flavor!
Brats got all dressed up with Slawsa, onions, and giardiniera.  A nice quick meal!

The Sam's Club in Los Angeles carries the Yuengling beer brats.

I've tried them and they're pretty good, although I prefer Johnsonville.
