Curious, how do you secure the TTT to the Weber vent?

BD
The silicone seal kind of just holds it in place, its easy to take the lid off and on with out it sliding around. The heat from the Q kind of temporarily melds it in place ....

Cool! You can pick your teeth clean as you eat.  :D
I like that  :) !!

love the idea and the look of the ribs. can you give more info on how you setup your grill for cooking and the use of the tip-top-temp? Do we have a sponsor for the tip-top-temp here?
Rad , I go as simple as possible now a days. Just lit a full starter of coal in the starter, dumped it on one side of the weber for indirect cooking put the lid on and got the grill to 250 F with the Tip-Top-Temp set at 2.5. Seasoned the ribs with Chicken Savor cause my brother in law loves it on everything. wire brushed the grill and threw a couple chunks of hickory on the coals and let it fly for about 4.5 hours turning once a hour. Threw a couple just incase coals on half way threw the cook. I also used my maverick temp probe to monitor internal BBQ temps.

Thank Key. That's what i like to do as well. Keep it simple as possible.

Awesome, I think my first trial was a spatchcocked chicken.  Can't wait to hear how you like it and the simple learning curve if any..
