I only used about 3/4 chimney of lump so my temps didn't get over 375. I knew that the grill grate would be at least 100 degrees hotter.

Thanks Mike. As for lumb I have never used before and I'm gonna do wings for the first time on PBC tonight and gonna throw some lump on top of kingsford like others have said they have done.
