Another Beef Plate Rib Cook on the Davy Crockett
« Reply #-1 on: April 19, 2018, 09:35:14 PM »
Yep, my last package of beef plate ribs until I hit Sam's Club again!  ;) I purchased the Bull Rack system to do jerky, etc
in the Davy Crockett, so I decided to try it with the ribs! It not only made the transport easier, it didn't dirty up my pellet
grill and cooking on basically a second higher rack let the ribs absorb more smoke. It took 7 hours to get them to toothpick tender.

Beef ribs look great!! I'll bet you love that Bull Rack System for that grill. I have the six rack system for my Daniel Boone and sure like it for jerky.

Mike, that is a beautiful rib. I bet Jaxon and Deb would like to taste a rib like that in a few weeks. (Hint...hint)

The ribs look great, Mike.   That Bull Rack system looks like a versatile setup.  I can see it working well for smoking up some sausages.

So, that's the size of them before Sam's cuts them up "Flanken" style?

Great job, again, Mike ! ! !

I'll have to give them a try after I cook up my last rack of Chuck Ribs from Rest. Depot . . .
