Assassin 36" Pellet Grill
« Reply #-1 on: May 14, 2018, 01:10:23 PM »
This past weekend I was in Byron, GA where Assassin grills are located. I had the opportunity to tour their factory and get a few photos of their new pellet grill.
It was fairly dark in there so the pictures aren't the best quality. Talk about an impressive cooker! Here is the link to the actual pellet grill and its description. The
owner did say that the body is 11 gauge steel and the lid was 14 gauge.

It has 2 full racks but what I found interesting was the "V" shaped heat shield. Makes it easier for the grease to drain.

I forgot to ask the size, but look how big this auger is!

The controller looks the same as the one I had on my Grid Iron and it is a very capable and popular controller. Other manufacturers use this one too.

I am thankful that I rode with Jaxon to their warehouse as if I would have taken my truck I may have just brought this one home. It is solid built and to me built
better than my Grid Iron. Who knows I may end up selling my Grid Iron and buying this one. 8) For $1050 you can't go wrong.

Looks like a solid rig. Almost 1200 square inches of cooking surface. But, that handle looks a little thin and puny.

It isn't! It also has air shocks to assist in lifting the lid. Just didn't get them into the photo.

Here is a kinda blurry photo showing the lid assists. The outside shelves are standard.

No they had just got this one finished. I didn't see anything cooking in their warehouse.

Those shocks are interesting. I would get the SS rack upgrade if I bought one.
