St Louis Ribs on the GMG Davy Crockett Pellet Grill
« Reply #-1 on: May 14, 2018, 08:09:51 PM »
Nope, we did not get ribbed out over this past weekend. Actually I bought these right before we left on Friday to do later on in the week.
But it is suppose to storm here for the rest of the week and half of next so I needed to get them done today.

Ribs came out excellent, though a little more fall of the bone then we like, but they were so good!

Mike, you have got beef and pork ribs down pat. I know that they tasted great. I like them fall off the bone. That GMG Davy Crockett with Texas blend pellets really puts out the right smokey flavor. I'm headed to the grill store to get a bag.

I made it with the specifics from Old Dave.

Here is the rack I bought: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B002ECFH32/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Other Hardware:

4 - 1/4" Carriage bolts 4" long
4 - 1/4" flat washers
4 - 1/4" fender washers
12- 1/4" nuts

Real simple to make and it works great. I did lower the rack some to fit 2 racks of beef ribs in it the other day.
