Have you ever Smoked a HOTDOGS?

While cooking the Chuckie and pizza the other day I figured I'd smoke a few hotdogs.  Not just cook them but 2 hrs at 225  with an Amazn' smoker going also

These were Nathan's 1/4 lb hotdogs.    Man oh man did it change the taste for the better!  Tasted more like a brat than a hotdog, nice and juicy good smoke flavor without being heavey 

Will do these more often for lunchs

  No I haven't but I agree it does sound pretty good.  We rarely have hot dogs except for the Italian ones at Sam's Club Deli.   I bet those would be good smoked too.

Geez Tee... it takes the right paraphernalia!  Sounds like you tried smoking it like you would a cigar?  That's not how you do it... 

I would show you how to do it, but I just swallowed some chewing tobacco and don't feel good now

I know people that use the wrappers off tampax,  just sayin...maybe you got an off brand  .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.

Try them Smoke!    Just use the 1/4 lb size so you don't end up with burnt sticks of meat      Kimmie would be knocking at your door then

Tommy, have you tried hot dogs in the air fryer?

I tried one & it was really good.

It gave the skin a good stiff bite,which I actually liked.
