I cooked some ABTs yesterday.
Just a few jalapenos. Mostly sweet peppers (V can't do the hot stuff).
Half of them were filled with seasoned cream cheese & a beef smoky.
Half were filled with seasoned cream cheese & pulled pork.
Wrapped with bacon & sprinkled with Jan's rub.
Smoked in the Jim Bowie @ 225° for about 1 & 1/2 hours, them bumped up to 300° for about fifteen minutes.
I used 16 oz. of cream cheese for 12 peppers (24 turds).
They were each wrapped with 1/2 strip of thin bacon, but next time I will use a full strip for each one.
As the pictures show, that was just not enough bacon.
