Lunch Leftovers
« Reply #-1 on: March 19, 2019, 12:29:30 PM »
Had some ribs leftover from a cook, cut them into 3 or 4 bone hunks and vacuum sealed them for the freezer. Perfect for lunch at work. Microwave isn't the ideal method for warming these, but it's WAY better than the cup-o-ramen option... :-)

Oh heck yeah... I took almost the same thing into work last week. People didn’t like me as I didn’t have enough to share... lol.

One alternative to microwaving is to bring a large pot of water to a very low boil and drop the vacuum bagged ribs into it.  I do this for any number of cooked and frozen foods.  Just keep the water from a hard boil and the bag should keep its seal and warm the food without making it chewy and tough like microwaving will do.
