Best Portable Pellet Grill
« Reply #-1 on: March 01, 2020, 02:00:29 PM »
I am in the market for a portable pellet grill, I haven't seen the MAK portable come out yet.  So I am looking at the following, would love feedback from those that own them:
Davy Crocket GMG - seen lots of good food cooked on these in this forum
Camp Chef Pursuit
Pit Boss 440TG1
Rec Tec RT-340

Any others I should be considering? and please don't say Traeger, me and Traeger don't get along :)
Thanks.

I own the Davy Crockett. It is a great little cooker. WIFI is reliable and temps are real steady once you get the drip pan adjusted. I also owned the small traeger (not their tailgater) and used it for about a year. I gave it to my son about 4 years ago and he cooked on just about every day without any problems. He has since "inherited" my Blaz'n Works Grid Iron. The little traeger is at his mother in laws now.
