Turkey breast on the Lockhart

Evening all! Smoked up a turkey breast on the Lockhart today. We did a mini Thanksgiving I guess you could say, with dressing and mashed potatoes. Who wants to wait a whole year for T-day? Not me.

My wife took me to a doctor that test your blood to see what is best for one to eat...….Guess what beef, chicken, lamb, veal are not on my list......But Turkey is...…

That looks great & none of that silly green stuff to get in the way on the plate.

I could eat that twice a week...….maybe I will have too lol.

Just the basic stuff. Cornbread of course, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, celery, onion, sage and a little bit of poultry seasoning.

Turkey is one of those things that you forget how good they are. I think next time I'm going to do one the Aaron Franklin way.
