My DB GMG is leaking grease between the pellet box and grill, any ideas what to check?

Same thing happened to me. My leaked grease everywhere on the first cook.

The rep for GMG came out and wanted to put some silicone on it to plug the leak.

I decided for a $1000 a grill should at least make it through a cook without spilling grease everywhere.

I returned it and bought a Yoder YS640s.

So, if that’s not an option, get some silicone and start looking to plug around where the grease bucket is.

Mine is leaking on the opposite of the grill, underneath the hopper not the grease bucket.

Same advise. Clean out the bottom real well. Get some high silicone off of amazon and just fill everywhere that there is a metal on metal seam. It’s probably gonna be tough to tell exactly where it’s coming from because there are 4-5 pieces of sheet metal folded together to create the box. But if find where all those pieces come together and put that high temp silicone on there it should stop it. Just make sure and clean it well first so the silicone can adhere well.
