Real nice write-up (as usual) Hub! Very informative and easy for a beginner to grasp as well. I've learned a lot from all the kind folks on this site. There's a wealth of knowledge in the membership here and kindness in sharing to boot! I hope to help the new folks here as much as the veterans of the site have helped me.  :)

Very insightful, thank you. And with all the great recommendations on pellets and the tube re: my "Where's the Smoke" it's a learning curve, but a fun one !
Thanks again Hub !

LOOPERDOLLY:
Great overview of pellet smoker basics and nuances. I really appreciate that you took the time to write this down for others to learn.

Thanks for all the info. It has been very helpful.  I hope a Rec Tec is in my future...

I made a post on this forum that I bought two Traegers yesterday at a Costco roadshow...one for me and one for my son.  You replied that it would be helpful (actually you said "please, please, please read....")  :) your 101 and 102 articles.  I did that last night and sent the links to my son.  Very informative and helpful.  Thanks Hub.
