Howdy Big Pig.  My neighbor has the smokin-it #2 going on 2 years now and she loves it. I had the #3 for a while and that sucker is huge and it is a great deal. :)

Why did you get rid of your #3 Smoke? Did you move on to bigger and better things or was it just too big? How well are they made? Did you have any problems with it?

For me personally, it did not give the results I was looking for. I don't like to slam equipment because we don't do that round these parts  ;D, but it just didn't work for me, but it is a very well made smoker and a bunch cheaper than the competition.

Well thanks for the honest answer! After surfing around for a bit on the internet I found a lot of great accessories for my egg style cooker that would really help me out. Then I seen a "Reverse Flow Smoker" and have to have one, just not as big as some of them can get! I already started looking around for the parts for my first build. So now I am on the fence again with the electric vs charcoal. I love charcoal just a lot more work no more being a lazy BBQ-er anymore I guess!  :D
