Howdy from a South Arkansas STEAK COOKING TEAM
« Reply #-1 on: March 25, 2013, 06:19:21 PM »
Hello folks! Let me start by saying that our team has done very few bbq contest, BUT we are willing to learn. We are thinking of trying our hand at a few small bbq cook-offs. I think it would be best to go small, like a rib cook-off. So I'll be sneaking around on here looking for tips!
As of now, we are the 2012 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP WINNER at steak cooking. We will try our best to make it a "back to back" win at the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP cook-off this May. We had a good run in 2012 with 2 grand champs several calls for 1st thru 4th place. We had the honor of cooking steaks in competitions from Memphis to Las Vegas in the last 3 years. Thanks to our sponsors I hope we can do it again! Anyway.... I'm just a STEAK HEAD on a BBQ site. But it's all about having fun and getting to meet some really nice people along the way. Thanks for letting me in!  ;D

Welcome frm mid Alabama. You will find this is not your typical BBQ forum, how many BBQ forums will you find pictures of food someone cooked in a Crock Pot? You will see lot's of steaks cooked here. Looking forward to seeing some of your cooks.

Welcome from North Carolina.  We all think we know how to cook a steak, but we are also willing to learn from others who specialize in cooking steaks.  You're going to love it here.  You may even pick up a few pointers.

Thanks for the replys.  Man.... This is my kind of place to be. FOOD TALK! Any time I can help someone cook up a better steak, I'll do my best. And trust me, I know a lot of people can cook up some REALLY good steaks and I would love to try some new tricks that could help me out. From the score we got at the last competition   :(  I NEED SOME HELP!
