Hey Sparky - I noticed you cook your ribs on the top rack ....Reason for that?

T

if I have a few ribs to cook I always cook on the top rack.  just habit.  i almost never cook in the bottom rack unless i'm cooking a lot of food.   8)

Out of the park!!

Electric Cambro?   Tell me more about this critter....

welp, i use to do some cooking for ppl.  a regular cambro gets hot by putting hot towels or a pan of boiling water in them to get the insides hot.  while catering i have to keep the food above 140° or i'm screwed (food needs to be below 34° and above 140°.  anything else is bad juju).  the electric cambro i got from a restaurant supply house.  $500 or so w/ the rolling stand.  i love it.  i can get it above 140 so i can travel w/ warm food.  its also great when i have a party here i can keep a lot of food hot and when ppl are done i put it back in the cambro until their hungry again.  a wonderful thing to have.  it also keeps my beer cold when i'm not suppose to have any.  the inside also keeps my brandy and cognac warm on those cold weekend morning when i need cooking food outside.  some ppl put vodka in freezers.  me, brandy and cognac in the cambro.  no ones knows about this.  don't tell my family.   :-X
