As you all know my wife has had some problems but thank fully she is getting better. She wanted me to smoke some butts for some special friends.

Here we go,
Picked this up at the local Co-Op store, yes there is 2 in there


Made the injection yesterday (it is not mine)


Injected


Getting ready to rub


On MAK 1351, smoke setting till I go to sleep then 225 for the night,

I scored some picnic butts from Stater Bros. for 0.89 cents a lb. I bought three of them and they are going on the Memphis tonight.

You and I will be synchronized smoking tonight ;)

Looking good!

They will take longer on the top rack. Less radiant heat from the drip pan.

Here we go, after the rest.


The bone, came our fairly clean. Little bit of sticking.


The final product,


I pulled the butts at the 200F area. Of course with a Thermapen (green).

My Wife has been doing the taste testing and really likes it so that's a good thing ;D
