We're there sparkles on those unicorn wings? Mayo does do a good job crisping up the skin though.

CaptJack - I get what you are saying. I've never been a big fan of sauces - I do make them for friends that like them - they are hooked from Buffalo Wild Wings... I like chicken. I make the wings for friends and family on the SRG - it is a wing machine - add sauces after they cook. For me, I like my 500X charcoal cooker - just the wings and rub. And for a whole chicken, I really like the flavor from my PBC - vary the rubs for fun - but the charcoal flavor is perfect.

I am with you - rub or marinade and cook close to the charcoal - yep good eats!

And BTW - that is a super photo!
