My best ribs yet
« Reply #-1 on: August 31, 2013, 07:09:19 PM »
Now I didn't say these were the best ribs I ever had, just my best ribs to date.

Molasses and some JH sweet rub.

Did 235 degrees for 3 hours.

Running my new tube with Milt's Apple pellets. I have struggled in the past to get the tube lit and to stay lit. I think I fixed my problem......size does matter ???

After 3 hours.

FL TIME......the way the Rib King taught me. One hour in foil.

Back on for 2 hours until I liked the tenderness. Mopped with thinned down Blues hog.

These were crazy juicy and NOT falling off the bone.  Pretty happy with these.

Your ribs do look mighty good.   Too bad we couldn't hook up.  I brought some sour wood honey with me to give to you.  I send the same honey to Sparky periodically.  It's one of his real secrets.
