DR, you've contributed to my education again.  I'll need to find detailed yakisoba recipes (same with teppanyaki).

Eggs:  Have you tried egg rings?

Breakfast burritos:  I put that on my list, too.

Thanks for the ideas.

Paul

Paul,
You are very kind.
I have not tried egg rings - tell me about them?

I use a Lodge griddle and although it small it works well. I just got a cooking steel from Stoughton Steel... haven't used it yet but it looks promising.

Nice cook David, I love cooking on a griddle. Looks like you have done it a time or two.

"Cooking steel?"  Like baking steel?  Like for pizza?  Write-up your results, please.  I'd love to get one screaming hot over propane and transfer it to my pellet pit for baking pizza.  (I like the hint of smoke on my pizza.)

One thing I found about the egg rings is it helps to spray the insides with PAM before cooking.  Dee

One trick I learned about cooking eggs is to cover them with a lid when frying and also a little water to steam as they cook under the lid and it really helps produce and excellent egg.  I think the professional cooks have a special/dedicated thingy for that task.  Maybe bbqchef can 'splain it gooder than I can.  Dee
