Needed Some Pulled Pork
« Reply #-1 on: September 11, 2013, 02:09:51 PM »
My Niece helped me out a lot taking care of my wife. She asks I do happily ;D

Uncle Drew can you make some pulled pork. Of Course.

Our local Co-Op had these on sale so I was able to pull these from the freezer

We like more bark so trimmed most of the fat cap

Molasses and Jan's, thank you Jan

All rubbed up

Still some what frozen in the middle so the probes are not inserted

Almost done, notice the tin foil wrapping on the probes. Made it easier to clean

Booty

Plate

Thanks for viewing

Did I read that right? @$5.05 per Kg. Canadian? So that translates from 6.325 Kg to almost 14 lbs. At $1.58 per lb. this morning in Sam's Club that would be $22.12 American Dollars versus 42.04 Canadian. That's $40.70 US dollars.

Well,...if you like something, then, price is no object. Are meats, generally that high priced in Canada?

By the way, the pulled pork looks great!

I noticed the price too. Looks like good quality though.

Great cook and nice idea with the foil. May steal that one
