Together Again
« Reply #-1 on: September 14, 2013, 08:48:47 PM »
Old Smoke,Charcoal and Wood. This cook was like meeting an old friend you haven't seen in a long while.
Got the Kingsford hot in the Stok Drum Charcoal Grill

Got the cast iron insert back in and getting it smokin hot. The Stok came up to temp real fast.

Tossed on some Wal-mart Ribeyes rubbed down with Stubbs steak seasoning

These two were mine

Toss in a garden salad with Green Goddess dressing and it is time to get my grub on

Why stop there.......I did some turds earlier in the day. Stuffed em with pulled pork laced with bbq sauce and some Ranchera cheese mixed with cilantro and onion

Took out the center insert and built up the coals in the center with a hunk of hickory wood...and circled the wagons

Turds for dessert anyone?

and now a song  :)

I think that the song you should have played is: "Back in the Saddle Again" by Gene Autry.

That seems more appropriate since you are back to the charcoal and wood world.

Nice looking food. Everything looks so good. Those ABT's would make a meal all by themselves with a couple of nice eggs over easy. Rib Eyes, nice choice.
