Awesome looking meal Keymaster! And I'm loving the onion idea... Soooo is Carl's Prime Rib Roast seasoning the same thing as the 'way out west dust' you refer to? I'v hunted for 'Way Out West' seasoning with no matches.

I know it's an old thread but I just wanted to thank Key for the onion trick thing.  We had never had onions this way and we did it with our ribeye cook last night.  It was just bouillon cube and butter on plain yellow onions but what a treat!  If you haven't tried it, you should.  Thank you, Keymaster.
