PTG Hickory smoked Meatloaves

Put the Traeger PTG tailgate unit to the test again when I maxed it out with 4 lbs of Meatloaves.  Mixed 2 lbs Hamburger with 2 lbs of Pork Sausage and the usual ... spices, bread crumbs, tomato sauce, eggs, and onions for 2 of the loaves (not everyone loves onions like I do) ... Smoked for an hour at 200ºF and then bumped it up to 350ºF until the IT reached 160ºF.  Rested 15 minutes under a foil tent before serving.

As you can see it took every inch of space available.  The edges of one of the loaves got a little crispy but no big deal.

Trimmed the burnt edges from one of the loaves and sliced up one of the loaves with onions and one without.  :) 8)  Doesn't get any better than this on the road visiting relatives!!

Nice job on the meatloaf.

I did one, actually two. One for my wife done in the oven and one on the smoker. My wife the anti-flavour lady did not care for smoked meatloaf.

I'm a thinking there needs to be changes coming ;D

I'll fight you for the end pieces, but make it mayo on mine.
