Put the Traeger PTG tailgate unit to the test again when I maxed it out with 4 lbs of Meatloaves. Mixed 2 lbs Hamburger with 2 lbs of Pork Sausage and the usual ... spices, bread crumbs, tomato sauce, eggs, and onions for 2 of the loaves (not everyone loves onions like I do) ... Smoked for an hour at 200ºF and then bumped it up to 350ºF until the IT reached 160ºF. Rested 15 minutes under a foil tent before serving.
As you can see it took every inch of space available. The edges of one of the loaves got a little crispy but no big deal.
Trimmed the burnt edges from one of the loaves and sliced up one of the loaves with onions and one without.
Doesn't get any better than this on the road visiting relatives!!
