Cod , seasoned with oil, salt , pepper & lemon.
Cooked over small fire on the cast iron grates.
Cooked great, grates very nonstick, served with a little lemon - herb aioli .

Looks delicious - only thing I would add are capers because I'm a sucker for citrus and the tiny buds

Those grates seem to be working out nicely for you. That fish looks really tasty.

Nice job, LA.  You must've spent some time seasoning those grates.

Fish looks excellent! I'm with pz - some capers would be the finishing touch.

Nice, LA!

Lead the way, sir.

B T W, I have a "charcoal pan" just like that - dug it out of the attic when I saw yours.  Since it is square, can you use it with the coal grate?  I'm thinking it will sit up a bit off the bottom of the grill...

It only raises the fire 1/4 in.
It confines a small fire in a n area allowing less briquettes for a small cook
My charcoal grate is pretty worse for wear so the basket protected it till I get replaced.

"outside-the-box"

I would have never though of using that piece for a charcoal basket...but it looks like a great idea.

Lemme know what you come up with next.
