Our expectations for your ribs is always high. You probably have never made a bad rib in your life. It is almost boring when you make ribs. They are always the best and the pictures drive us crazy for a taste.

"Sparky1 is making ribs again." Another spectacular result. Then we try to copy what you do and although we try, it does not always compare. But, at least, it gives us something to aspire to.

Perfect looking ribs!

Out of curiosity, how long was your saucing part of the cook ( 3-2-1---the one part)?

Same cook. Two full racks.  Ok maybe 3.  One on 69, kettle, and smoky mt.   Blind tast test.   Charcole won before.  Could those ribs have been even better?

They look amazing.

yes this ribs were better.  these were in my top 3 flavorful ribs.  next Tuesday is my 1st day off since starting my new job (need charcoal money).  I will try a rack on my mak and bullet.  we will see.  same rub, sauce and I will be drinking.  see bbq is fun.    8)

2-1-3/4.  I sauce the last 1/2 hour or so.  sauce on bone side then flip sauce on meat side.  yummy.......

Hi Sparky1!

I hope it is proper for me to compliment and also thank you even though we have never exchanged salutations.

First, I have a pretty good idea how your ribs tasted because I followed your recipe pretty close and I came up with the "best ribs I ever cooked"!

Thank you for your post and I excuse myself for copying you because I have heard it said that imitation is the best form of flattery.

I did not realize I was prompted to try to cook "the best ribs I ever cooked", because of your post, along with Jaxon and Dee's version of pretty much what you did.

It is pretty amazing how eventually and finally things come together for a perfect cook.

I used to post quite a bit but lately I have been super busy with my job and feel like a "stalker" because I have not contributed much to the cause. I will revert to my old self as soon as my obligations at work diminish.

Again, thank you for "the best ribs I ever cooked".
God bless you,
Albert

Wow, as a newbie to this sight who just mucked up his first batch of ribs in his new SRG, I'm jealous.  Those look fantastic, I was ready to dig in after you took the foil off and before you sauced.  Man those were good looking ribs.  One of these days I'll get some that maybe half as good and I'll be happy!
