Ribeyes & taters on the grill
« Reply #-1 on: October 22, 2013, 11:38:56 AM »
Because sometimes you just want a steak. Found a family pack of three(?) for $6.99/lb. at the local grocer, so of course I bought three packs and dealt with the potential fallout from SWMBO, but she was glad that I found them for a good price!

Thawed a package, prepped some potatoes (bakers in foil with butter & kosher salt for the fam, a Hasselback with butter, crushed garlic & parm for me) & fired up the Performer. Got the fire a little too big and the steaks were done faster than I wanted, but they still came out OK. Sorry, no plated pics. They were too blurry and I had a "Gottahaveitnow!" moment, so mine was gone in short order. My favorite steak to cook and to eat, and you can't go wrong with a Hasselback tater!   8)

No worries... we all have those moments!

The food looks great, especially that Hasselback Potato. I love baked potatoes cooked well done like that.

Great looking meal! But I gotta ask; what's a Hasselback potato?

Great looking meal!!  Love ribeyes and love Hasselback potatoes.  I usually cook my Hasselbacks around a big dinner during the Christmas holidays.  They are special.
