Blue your new home.

Let's put some coals in blue.

While I try and figure out what I am doing on blue I need lunch. Luckily mak is so easy. Couple Nathan dogs wrapped in bacon.

Took pictures and look over and blue is getting hot

Dogs look great

Found some beer for Halloween

Very good lunch.  Blue held at 400 for 30 min with vents 1/2 open.  Closed down to see what it will take to get to 350 and 250.  Guess I didn't hit post yesterday so here ya go today.

Blue has a very nice home.

If you want to cook indirect and be around 250 and 275, just use one of the charcoal baskets. Put in 25 un-lit and take out 8 and get em lit. Then just add the 8 lit to the unlit 17 and add 8-10 unlit every hour and that sucker will cook all day around 250-275. Just keep your bottom vent slightly cracked and your lid vent wide open.

Love the blue. I started charcoal about a year ago. I was plenty nervous at the beginning. Kept thinking I would burn my deck down
