Pumpkin seeds
« Reply #-1 on: November 02, 2013, 11:55:32 PM »
Wife cleaned the pumpkins and dried the seeds.  Left them on the counter so I took a few.  Turned out awesome if I do say so myself.  Think the kids and wife agreed as the bellied up to the counter and went to town.

Three ways

The girl is at a bday party to go to and the boy wanted to help.  Had to taste all the rubs.  Turned my head and he had a spoon full. He liked supper pig.

And done this way

Simply Marvelous

Added butter then spices.  Smoke setting for 1 hr.  then 325 for 20 min stir once.

Best pumpkin seeds I have had.

Look great, I never tried doing my own. The only ones I have eaten are pepitas the hulled and roasted ones. I would like to try some like yours. I think you can also eat most squash seeds the same way. Don
