Nice looking sear marks on those steaks!

And remember when cooking steaks you don't need sear marks on both sides and a Thermapen is your best friend ;)

I do have a cheap instant read thermometer, but a Thermapen is on the list.

Nice looking steaks Bill. I'm relatively new to BBQ. I'm learning a lot about the different types of meat candy machines. I've never heard if a Yoda and you know I'm thinking Star Wars, sorry, but thanks for the education!

Thermoworks also has a flat top thermometer and an IR along with the great ThermaPen... The Thermapen is well worth the investment.

Thanks smokentime. The brand is actually "Yoder". I named mine Yoda, and I put a little note on why at the beginning of this post.
