Pit thermometers - River Country, Tel-Tru, or
« Reply #-1 on: November 10, 2013, 08:27:59 PM »
I am interested in adding one and perhaps two additional pit thermometers to the Yoder Cheyenne Wood Burner. Any suggestions with respect to thermometers and your experience with different brands.

Thanks,

Ed

Tel-Tru seem to be standard on most of the custom pits I have run across.

I have read good things about the River Country (never used them), and the prices are really good.  For a one time purchase though, I'm not sure I would consider the difference in price that big of a deal.  Since you are considering multiple thermos, I would order one River Country from Amazon and give it a decent workout.  If it works well, great (order more).  If not, return it.
