Here's a quick easy way to resize a preview pic.

A hat tip to Mike (HighOnSmoke) for turning me on to this little trick!


BBcode Usage & Syntax:
[lMG width=Pixel_Size]Image_URL_Goes_Here[/lMG]

Note: This resizes the preview to the pixel size you specify, and displays the full size image when clicked.


Example:
[lMG width=200]https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-CbPLowyKF2o/UNEydzavC-I/AAAAAAAAEGI/mpD6HO1thDk/s740/HOL1214.JPG[/lMG]


Result:





This will definitely come in handy when posting future threads!  8)



Edit note: this will not work on all forums, but should work on any that are running SMF.

Thanks Cliff but I was following pz's tutorial on how to post from Picasa web albums.
I tried to make it work with the photos from Photobucket but that won't work for some
reason. Are you using Picasa? Disregard I just saw where you posted your photo from.  ::)

Mike, here's one of your photobucket photos with this resizing tag working.



Now this is just the [lMG] tag and not the URL, but it seems to be working fine.  To see the BBcode, click the "Quote" button.
