Here are three tips which may help y'all...everyone else but me and you two already know them.
--when putting your knives in a wooden knife block put them in with the sharp edge up. It prevents dulling the edge by scraping it on the wooden portion of the slot when you insert it.
--to keep your cutting board from sliding around, put some rubber shelving liner under it. Yeah, you have to make sure it's touching. Good grief!
--when you roast a pepper rather than putting it in a plastic baggie for it to sweat so you can pull the skin off, put it in a pot and put the lid on it. Works just as good.
