Yeah I had 3, but I had a small lunch

During the Holidays when I break out the gas fired griddle, I get a little melancholy. As you all know I am just an old fry cook at heart. Give me a big flat grill and two spatulas and get the heck out of my way  :D  I remember back to when I was a teen running the grill at a Coffee Shop. Those were the days: "When times were good, and you were mine"...sorry, had to slip in a Haggard song

I am gonna say it right here and right now...when you are talking about country, you are talking about the Hag. There are other great ones, but Merle and the Strangers are at the top of the heap..end of discussion.

Did some bacon cheeseburgers..no more talking, hope everyone enjoys.......

I could barely finish my Fat Tire after -3- of those bad boys   but I did

If they had a 24 hour channel of a talented person working a flat top.....I would never leave home.

Great cook buddy!

Can't get any mo' better! I want to get one of those flat tops for my Camp Chef stove. I have a 16x24 cast iron griddle but it is a bear to clean. I normally use one or two of my 14" round cast iron griddles.

I have a nice little set of speakers for my Ipod and a little 12 can cooler that I take out to the deck when I am cooking. I have my wife convinced that i have to be out there constantly to monitor the cook. Depending on the cook it might be Willie or the Hag and some Coors or it might be Jimmy Buffett, Bob Marley or the Neville Brothers and a Corona. After a good meal I might get out there with some Delbert McClinton, Bonnie Raitt or Eric Clapton and a wee dram or two of Bushmills.

No better way to cook burgers than on a flat top. Looks great, and it's always burger time.
