Repurposing Ribs
« Reply #-1 on: January 05, 2014, 05:47:03 PM »

Way too cold & dangerous to open the food truck today, so I brought some projects home to work on.

2 racks of ribs out of the freezer (they were rubbed & smoked, but not glazed).

6 hours in the crock pot with a few glugs of ACV and hot water.

Glove up and pull, then chop with a heavy santoku knife.

Instant 'chopped pork' gift packages!

Yeah, this is the first time we've closed down due to inclement weather.   A foot of snow and sub-zero windchills helped that decision!

We had a busy day yesterday...   Everybody was swinging by for some Q after they stocked up on milk, bread and toilet paper.   ;D

Stay warm, everyone!
