My gal got back from Mexico last night so I took the day off to spend with her. Now, she hoodwinked old smoke to take her to breakfast but I am firing up the Blackstone for din din........

Grabbed the rub


Sprinkled em with peanut oil and then let the Eagle land  8)

Sparky:  most of my cooks have been for the GMG JB review lately...just a couple more cooks and that will be wrapped up.

Hikerman: Smoochy has been in the house lately........might be a Smoochy siting later today  ;)

Yeah, Smoke cooks but posts them in a spot where we can't reply.  Sounds like a conspiracy to me.  :D

So we are at breakfast and I realize, I AM OUT OF BEER

So I am at Bevmo getting ready to grab some FT or Original Coors and then I spot this.......I first drank this beer when I swiped it from Pops and propped it up in a running spring up in the Tujunga canyons many many moons ago.....

After the chicken was grilled on both sides, I turned the heat down and reverted to an old fry cook trick..the upside down aluminum pan..comes in real handy for uneven pcs of meat..especially chicken


Looks ready to get plated up


The Olympia beer tasted like more. Gal is back from Mexico and I got a plate of grilled chicken and hash browns..no complaints from Old Smoke  ;)
