You are right Don but I had to hold them to match Sweetie's Dinner Time.

Just pulled the ribs.

Sliced and plated with the smoked trimmings in the Black Eye Peas and Greens.

Not happy with this smoke profile. :(

Thanks all for looking and the comments. :)

Any cornbread??
Now everyone knows greens and black eye peas require corn bread.
The task was passed by Sweetie to our our daughter, who like many of our children, forgot. :(

What didn't you like about the smoke profile?
I was trying different pellets which were a mix of woods and to me and family there was a lack of smoke taste.
Even though we all know the smoke ring does not add to the taste the smoke ring was very light which could
also indicate a lack of proper smoke in this pit.

Looks excellent Savannah!  Cornbread sure would've looked nice in that photo, but first....plate me please, I love greens and black-eyed-peas! Not to mention those picture perfect ribs. Oh yeah!

Looks good to me. I understand the smoke flavor issue when trying different types of pellets. I'm still new to using pellets but I can get lit to heavy smoke taste depending on which one's I use.

As good as the ribs look, I'd settle for a bowl of the greens & black-eye peas with some corn bread!
