Pork Butt on the Old Smokey
« Reply #-1 on: March 09, 2014, 08:15:03 PM »
So the 62.00 Old Smokey can turn out smoked pork as good as a expensive off-set (hey, gotta save for a ring)  8)

Got the 22 OS set up for indirect with some wood chips

Put the pork in a pan, too much grease for this charcoal grill....don't want a fire
Rub was Bone Sucking Rub (Wendy got it for me)

Only two refills of briquettes and 7 hours later she was at 198 internal

We split a beer, aint gonna ruin her perfect figure  8)

Got Smoke?

There is an old saying: "Less is more". And, you are proving that with "Old Smokey".
