GMG DC Roasted Chicken

Rubbed a 5½ lb fresh Foster Farms Roaster under and on the skin with EVOO and Lawry's Chicken & Poultry Rub.  Wrapped in plastic and fridged for 5 hours.  Used a Roaster V Tray to hold the yardbird and a 9x13 foil pan to catch the drippings.

Preheated the Green Mountain Grill Davy Crockett to 225ºF.  Hickory smoked for an hour at 225ºF before bumping the temp to 375ºF till the IT in the breast reached 170ºF ... click on photos to enlarge
