There is some really excellent advice here so I'm not going to add much. Just this: Select your pellet cooker based on its fit to how you plan to use it. Every cooker is a compromise in some way or other and some are highly specialized. One phenomenon frequently reported by those new to pellet cookery is that they use their new cookers a lot more often and for more things. Thus, versatility is a virtue.
