Smoked, Grilled Pork Sirloin Chops
« Reply #-1 on: April 19, 2014, 10:07:58 PM »
I needed to smoke a cut up chicken for some jambalaya, so I tossed on 3 chubby pork sirloin chops that were rubbed with molasses and generously coated with Big Ron's Hint of Houston. Smoked all at 185F for 90 minutes using Lumberjack's hickory pellets. After pulling the meat off the grill, I cranked the temp up to 375F and set in the Grillgrates to heat up a bit. Chops were back on the grates until they hit 160F. Rested 10 minutes and served with potato salad and a nice garden salad with bleu cheese. Had a few New Belgium Spring Blondes to wash it all down. Delightful!
If you celebrate Easter, I'd like to wish you a Happy Easter, if you don't, I wish you a great Sunday!   Cheers!

Ooh those look incredible.

Next time I buy the rear half of a pork loin (which includes the sirloin) I'm gonna have the butcher cut it into steaks like that.

Happy Easter to you too, brother! :)

At first Art I wasn't very happy with it, but after a few bottles it started to grow on me, so to speak. But now, I like it a lot......a great warm weather brew!
Didn't Tim say they are building one of their breweries near you?
