ABT's or plan C
« Reply #-1 on: May 29, 2012, 05:16:19 PM »
well, the stuffed peppers didn't work.  on to plan C.

i found this cool little thing in the grocery store.  i wasn't wearing my glasses so i could't tell ya what it was but i thought it would clean my jalapenos well.

see, it does work well.

cream cheese on 1/2 the peppers.

i took some of the burnt peppers and put chucks on the inside on top of the cream cheese.

closed the hatch.

bacon time.

threw them down on Hazel next to the chicken.

well, my stuff not pretty.  who cares, its all about the taste.

i'm not sure what type of peppers i burnt.  man oh man.  these suckers were hot.  very hot.  i did leave some seeds in.  might have been a mistake.  all i know is.  after the 1st one i had to blow my nose and wipe the sweat off my forehead.  once that was over i ate them all up.  thank goodness for pepcid.

You may want to go to the store and get some popsicles - for in the morning........ :o  By then...you may have developed a "poblano-problemo" ;D ;D ;D

It looks like an apple corer.  Looks like it works great for cleaning out the jalapenos.

And look; you save those roasted Poblanos too! Plan "C" turned out pretty dang good.

They make great lil corrers now..I do lots of jalapeno poppers and use mine all the time. I even grow  my own jalapenos and freeze them in ziploc bags ..just take them out of the bag and fill them..and cook'm.  Enjoy...your look great. Yes Smoke. The seeds and the veins that the seeds attach to are what carry the capsaicin. Remove that completely and there will be no heat.
