First Problem with Akorn Kamado
« Reply #-1 on: June 22, 2014, 10:55:58 AM »
After hundreds of hour of smoking, grilling & sitting outside in the elements under a cover first expensive problem ???
27 months of being in the sun killed the cover :(
Tried fixing a couple tears with Gorilla Tape ( really HD duct tape) but only lasted a couple months .
New cover was $32 shipped but it's pretty!

well that settles it - If I have to buy a cover every 2 1/4 years I am not going to waste my money on an Akorn.   ;D ;D ;D ;D

Seems like a pretty fair price for cost of ownership!

Grill covers are a heck of a racket price-wise.
