(http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160724/f49acb7096a2131d4cc19a6a94d582ab.jpg) found this on sale at supermarket yesterday while looking for a tri-tip. They didn't have a tri-tip so we figured we would give it a try. I haven't heard of it before, but I figure I'll do it to medium to medium-rare like a roast. Anyone try one before?

I just had to look it up I've never heard of it. I found a site comparing it to a chuck roast...
"I tried a hunk of the chuck first and it was very flavorful but the meat was kind of stringy. The cross rib roast was much more tender. The meat is a finer textured than the chuck and it still had that great chuck flavor. You could cut it with a fork. "

Excellent job on the roast and based on those pictures I will have to look for Cross Rib Roast.
