Title: Pork roast in the SRG
Post by: Roget on April 17, 2017, 09:39:46 AM
I cooked a small (1.75 lbs.) pork loin roast in the SRG for dinner last night.

I rubbed it with a Tuscan garlic seasoning, set the SRG at the lowest setting, & cooked it to an IT of 135 F.
It took one hour & 5 minutes.

I foiled it for 15 minutes & sliced it.

One of the most succulent roasts I have ever cooked.
I usually use my SRG to cook chicken or turkey, but it sure did a good job on this piece of pork.

On a side note, your rack looks new! And a reminder to others, if you cook in the driveway make sure when you take the rack out don't put it behind your car and forget you put it there! Car 1 Rack 0!!  :'(
