Greetings! New to the smoking scene. Just got a Pit Barrel Cooker for Christmas and have used it 3 times already. First cook was Pork shoulder, 2nd cook was a whole chicken and a rack of ribs, and 3rd cook was a whole chicken. The Pit Barrel must be fool proof, because everything came out great. Anyway, just wanted to say Hi and I am hoping to learn a lot from you fellow enthusiasts.

WELCOME!
Glad you found us Hank. Good looking pooch you have there. Hope you will join in the revelry here - and don't be bashful. We are not formal, nor are we "thread police". SO, just ask any questions you have, post up some pictures of your cooks - and tell us what you did....And share recipes.
That's a lot of what we do.

Welcome from the state with the college national champs ( the real one that won in Atlanta, not the fake one from DisneyWorld) (Sorry, I am still reveling in the win. I'll be ok in a week or two.)
But welcome anyway.
