Here is the recipe as of no but need tweeking


Cherries ................................1/2 cup cut into small pieces    (fresh cherries)
Bourbon (cheap stuff)......... 1/2  cup
Erithotol................................ 3/4  cup
Stevia.................................... 1/4   tsp
Black strap molasses...........   1 Tbsp
Salt.......................................    1 pinch
Pepper.................................    1/2 tsp or so
Garlic powder .....................    1 tsp
Dried Onion bits.................     1 tsp
Worcestershire sauce ........      1 Tbsp


Add all to pot and simmer for about 1/2 hour or until thickens (may need to add a little water if to thick) Brush on after chicken is cooked


Cherry, bourbon sauce with Stevia and erithotol  (just trying out new things)

We had a meal delivery kit about 2 years ago when my daughter was born that had a cherry chicken combo.  I remember liking it but as all things in the first couple months after she was born things were a blur.

I think if I remember right there was balsamic vinegar.  I think what you need is a little acid, maybe a squeeze of lemon juice or apple cider vinegar.  Just a guess without tasting it and based on what I see in ingredients.
