Some Chops
« Reply #-1 on: May 06, 2013, 12:02:58 PM »
Decided last minute to get some chops and throw on my NEW TRU infrared 3 burner. Pulled them at what the thermometer said was was 145, seemed a little dryer than expected but still pretty yummy! Juicier towards the bone as to be expected.

This grill gets to 700 degrees FAST!!!!!!!!

Look good from here.   Cook a few more send them to me and I'll tell you if they are dry  :D :D

Might want to marinade them next time in Italian dressing, works wonders

I am going to have to try the italian dressing. Normally just use my rub or dijon mustard!

Good looking chops!

As others have stated brining does help. And remember they will rise 5 degrees after you remove them from the grill. Also getting really thick chops helps. I cut my own at least one inch thick.

Take a look at this link.  Great info on brining.  I would NOT brines pork chops overnight.
